PRIVACY NOTICE

What we collect, and nothing more.

Agentu builds static, edge-served websites with no database and a near-zero attack surface. We hold the same standard for ourselves: we only collect what you choose to send us, we never sell it, and we use exactly zero cookies. No hidden tracking, and absolutely no annoying popups.

Who we are

This site is operated by Agentu Ltd (“Agentu”, “we”, “us”), the data controller for any personal data described here.

  • Company Agentu Ltd
  • Company number 16191406
  • Registered England and Wales
  • Registered address 10 Campbell Crescent, East Grinstead, West Sussex, RH19 1JR
  • Contact info@agentu.co.uk

What we collect

We only receive personal data when you deliberately send it. There are three ways that can happen, and that's all:

1 · The contact form

When you submit the contact form, it's sent over an encrypted connection to our Cloudflare Worker, which emails the details straight to our team. A Cloudflare Turnstile check protects the form from spam and abuse. We receive:

  • Name so we know who we're talking to
  • Email so we can reply
  • Website optional, only if you choose to share it
  • Message whatever you tell us about your business and goals

2 · The diagnostic tool

Our free diagnostic reads a website the way an AI agent would. To run it, you give us one thing: a domain name. We use it to fetch and parse that site's publicly available pages and generate your readiness report. Before we run a fresh scan, a Cloudflare Turnstile check confirms you're human, to stop the tool being abused. We don't ask for, or need, anything else from you.

To analyse a site, we retrieve and process the content of its publicly accessible pages. If a domain or its public content happens to relate to an identifiable person, we treat it as personal data. To avoid re-scanning the same site, your report is cached at Cloudflare's edge for up to 7 days, after which it expires automatically. We don't retain it for marketing.

Each report lives at its own address (for example /reports/yourcompany.com). That page is shareable but is not indexed by search engines, so anyone you send the link to can view the report while it stays cached. Since it only ever reflects a site's publicly available pages, there's nothing private in it.

The unlocked report includes a short, AI-written summary of what an assistant would say about the scanned site. To write it, a brief excerpt of the site's public homepage content is sent to an AI model, either Anthropic's Claude or, when no provider key is configured, Cloudflare Workers AI, routed through Cloudflare's AI Gateway. That excerpt is only ever used to write the summary shown in your report; if the model can't produce one, we fall back to a summary we assemble ourselves and no data leaves Cloudflare's network.

3 · Unlocking the full report

The free report is a summary. To unlock the full deep-audit findings, we ask for one thing: your work email, so we can send you the detail and follow up about working together. Alongside it we receive basic technical metadata - the approximate country and the time of your request. As with every scan, a Cloudflare Turnstile check uses your IP address to confirm you're human and guard against abuse; we don't keep that IP address in our stored records.

Why we use it and our lawful basis

We use the data above purely to respond to your enquiry, run the diagnostic you requested, send you the full report you unlocked, and follow up about working together. Under UK GDPR our lawful bases are:

  • Consent you chose to email us or run the diagnostic
  • Legitimate interests replying to enquiries and operating our business

We do not use your data for automated decision-making, profiling, or advertising, and we never sell it.

Tracking and cookies

This website sets no marketing or analytics cookies and runs no third-party trackers. The diagnostic and contact form work without storing anything in your browser for advertising purposes.

The one third-party component we load is Cloudflare Turnstile, a privacy-friendly “are you human?” check on the contact form and before a fresh diagnostic scan. It's a spam and abuse safeguard, not an advertising tracker, and Cloudflare does not use it to profile you across sites.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your data. We only share it with the service providers that help us operate: Cloudflare, which hosts this site, runs the anti-spam checks (Turnstile) on the contact form and the diagnostic, and delivers the resulting email to us. For the diagnostic's AI-written summary, a short excerpt of the scanned site's public homepage content is also sent to Anthropic (Claude), via Cloudflare's AI Gateway, or to Cloudflare's own Workers AI when no Anthropic key is configured. These providers act on our instructions and are bound to keep your data secure.

Because Cloudflare operates a global network, your data may be processed on servers outside the UK. Where that happens, it's protected by appropriate safeguards (such as the UK's International Data Transfer Agreement or equivalent), so your data keeps the same level of protection it has under UK law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and our ongoing relationship, then delete them when they're no longer required. Diagnostic reports are cached at the edge for up to 7 days and then expire automatically; nothing from the free scan is retained for marketing.

When you unlock a full report, the lead record - your work email and the basic metadata above - is kept at Cloudflare's edge for up to 90 days, then expires automatically. If we go on to correspond with you, that email is kept under the same terms as any other enquiry.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

  • Access get a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Rectify correct anything inaccurate
  • Erase have your data deleted
  • Restrict / object limit how we use it
  • Withdraw consent at any time

To exercise any of these, email info@agentu.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
